What is the procedure for entry into the graduate programme (Master and PhD)?
Application to the Graduate programme is handled by the Institutre of Graduate Studies (IPS, USM) which is also there on the website.  The application can be made online. After it has gone to the IPS the application will be chanelled to KANITA.  Details of the university's requirements are there on the university's website http://www.ips.usm.my/

I wish to enroll as a postgraduate student in KANITA. May I know the programmes of study offered?
We offer both Master of Social Sciences (Gender Studies) and the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Gender Studies by research mode. Details of the programme can be found here.

What are the scholarships available and how should I apply for it?
The scholarships available are the Graduate Assistantship (Teaching), Graduate Assistant (Research), Fee Exemption Scheme and Graduate Research Fund, National Science Fellowship and Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme. The forms can be downloaded from IPS http://www.ips.usm.my

Are there any financial sponsorships or support for foreign students?
Foreign students can apply for the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) and the Islamic Development Bank scholarship.
