NETWORKING
The
Centre has networked with approximately 20 research
based on women’s organizations globally, most of
them in universities. Activities involve exchange
programmes and research collaboration. Links with
NGO’s usually involve information dissemination and
partnerships in workshops, seminars and conferences.
KANITA was a link institution in a CICHE programme
with |
the University of Kent
in Canterbury, and has signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding)
with the Asian Studies Department at the University of Bonn. The
Centre is also linked to the University of Bristol. These links are
concerned with academic staff exchanges, joint training graduate
students and research collaboration. In health, KANITA is also
directly linked to the WHO, Geneva. Currently, KANITA is a partner
in the UCLA/Global South Gender initiative Advisory Board. KANITA is
extensively involved in collaborative research and projects with the
